Our connection to AFC Bournemouth and the Poole Pirates Speedway team was the inspiration for the site name "CherryPirate".
Colin's involvement with AFC Bournemouth from a young age, including displaying the half-time match scores and later working on the turnstiles, shows a deep connection to the club.
It's also interesting that Colin's brother worked at selling cushions at the stadium, and his father handed out re-entry tickets in the main stand. Our family has a rich history of involvement with the club, further highlighting our strong long lasting support for "The Cherries."
As for the Poole Pirates Speedway team, we have a strong affinity for them as well, with their nickname "The Pirates" adding an extra layer of excitement to our support for them.
