Day 10 – La Bella Vista

We have today travelled down the cost past Algaciras to a commercial campsite to meet up with others who will also be crossing on Wednesday to Morocco.

We arrived after our 2 hour (165 km) journey about 1pm. We checked in and got ourselves sited. We introduced ourselves to the neighbours, John & Kathie from South Wales, who will also be joining us on our adventure. Next we topped up the fresh water tank and sorted out the inside. It was good to get some WIFI access so that we could catch up with the news, email etc and I was able to listen to the match where AFCB lost 3-0 to Wigan. Disappointing but not unexpected. During the afternoon Tina did 3 loads of washing and drying so we are now ready to embark on our adventure with fresh apparel.

In the evening a number of us strolled down to the local marina which is about 10 minutes away. We spent a very pleasant evening drinking and chatting and getting to know a few of the people that may well be our companions over the coming days. Getting back to the van I turned on the TV and after some time was able to get Match of the Day which I watched until 11:30 in the morning.
