Day 13 – Algeciras Lidl car park

After servicing the van this morning we left at around 10:30 to make our way to Lidl where we would do some final shopping and purchase the ferry tickets for the morning.
I drew some of our spending money out in cash in readiness for converting it in the morning when we arrive at Tangier Med. Had some problems with remembering the pin for one of our cards and after many calls back to the UK finally succeeded in unlocking the account and getting the card to work in the ATM.
Later in the afternoon we moved over to the car park where we are to spend the night. At approx 19:30 we are meeting in Macdonalds to receive the tickets and papers we will need to get across the water to Morocco. Later in the evening they brought round the tickets with our free gift of some cake and a bottle of cider.
I helped yet another person with their TomTom and how to enter coordinates in the different formats. I think he finally understands when longitude is negative and degrees, minutes and seconds.
We had some rain in the evening and I wondered over to a B & Q style place and gad a look around. For the first time I was unable to get any satellite signal so we decided to have an early night as we are leaving at 08:30 for the port.
All ready now for the start of the unknown to begin.
