Day 21 – Taghazout beach second day

We awoke this morning with the weather being a little more overcast. I was conned out of money whilst we had photos taken with a camel.
Soon we were off to the market in the next village known as banana town. We caught a \”bus\” for 3dh each. It was a very old transit with windows and some bench seats in the back. Still it got us there for a princely some of 22.5p in English money.
In town we got some money from an ATM and then wandered around the market. What an experience….not one that is easily described. After much haggling we left with some carpet, shoes for me, vegetables, tea pot, nuts, olives, dates, pickled lemons and a table cloth. We eventually managed to get a taxi back by changing our position from everyone else.
Tina had her haircut by a German lady this afternoon. She made a really good job of it. Later a number of us got together for a drink and chat and then the guitars came out. More of the group joined as the afternoon went on. Although a little cold we had a good time until we broke up at about 7pm.
