Day 35 – Peschiera Del Garda

What a scorcher!! It has been really hot here today. At one point here this afternoon I turned the ignition on and the dashboard read 43°C. The sweat has been running off both of us. It\’s like being in a sauna.

We started out at about 10am and travelled here using a mixture of toll roads and dual carriageways. We still had some pitied roads but in the main they were better.

So hot we haven\’t done anything this afternoon except a siesta …. I now understand why they need to rest in the height of the midday sun.

Off tomorrow to get the laptop fixed for a third time. Let\’s hope it stays fixed.
