Day 1 Gosport
We start our Winter 2023 holiday by joining the Solent DA at Bay House school for 5 Days. The meet has around 200 people and 80 vans here parked around the school on hard standing.
WE left home around 1pm. The first job was to buy an International Driving Permit 1968 which is required for Morocco so we rocked up to the local post office. Shortly after we were on our way to Gosport only to realise that I had forgotten to pick up my rain coat. We were on the A34 approaching Winchester so it was a quick turn around to go back home. Tina then realised she had forgotten her hand bag.
We arrived at the school around 2:30 pm and duly filled the fresh water tank before finding our resting place.
We joined everyone else in the main hall for the \”Booze Brothers\” who were this evenings entertainment. Really wasn\’t our type of music but others seemed to like the band.
