Day 25 Kenitra
Last night we ate in the restaurant over the road from the campsite. It was very tasty. Tina had Chicken & chips, I had a Chicken Tagine, Eric had a Lamb Tagine and Annie ordered some local fish with chips. The starter was a salad mixed with some seafood which included Squid, Crab and Prawns. The meal was finished off by a selections of home made cakes. At €20 per head it was reasonable and very welcome.
We left the site before 11:00am and headed to Larache where there was an ancient site Eric wanted to visit. Unfortunately the ground was far too steep for me to encounter so we stayed behind whilst they explored. They came back to the vans and were extolling the merits of the place.
We were now going to try and camp in Moulay Bousselham and one of our old favourite camp sites which is now closed. Some guides said that it was possible to camp outside of the gates but sadly the parking was full of cars so we made a quick decision to move on to Kenitra. We are at a campsite we have never used before and it has loads of space. Tina asked if they could organise getting some washing done for us so we are hoping that it will come back in the morning.
As we are moving south the weather is getting warmer but I have been in long trousers in the past couple of days. Shorts will become the norm soon I hope.
