Day 27 Mohammedia
At 10am our travelling companion friends went off to meet their taxi to go visit the Medina in Casablanca. They came back late afternoon full of the tales of how they got on. They loved the experience.
We on the other hand did more mundane things like service the van… empty loo, fill with fresh water & empty our waste water tank. We took the opportunity to move next to our friends van as quite a number of vans left in the early part of the morning. Nearer lunchtime Tina reminded me that I said we could visit the on site cafe for lunch. Unfortunately the offerings were coffee and not much else so we settled for a coffee and sat in the sun looking out to the sea rolling in in the shoreline. In the shade it was quite cool but we were lucky where we were.
Back at the van Tina took the opportunity to do a few bits of washing. We now needed a washing line so she strolled up to reception to ask if they had any rope to tie between the trees. No one around so she asked an approaching chap if he spoke English. The answer was YES I AM ENGLISH. She will talk to anyone. He had some string so we promptly tied up a line. Later in the afternoon the same guy returned to find Tina and gave her a line he had purchased from the supermarket. Some people are so kind.
Tomorrow we are moving further down the coast so the temperatures should improve yet again. I so miss the UK weather at this time of year …. NOT.
