Day 30 Safi

Leisurely day today. We had planned an hours journey south to our current location on a campsite in Safi. This was the location that some years ago we visited and the electric post we were connected to caught fire due to 40+ Dutch vans trying to connect from one outlet. The evidence has long gone but we are parked close to where we were before.

The journey here was uneventful but the countryside was full of character…. people, cars, taxis and livestock all going about there business.

The afternoon was more sitting and enjoying the warm sunshine. It\’s not getting as warm as I remember from past visits but I understand it is sooooooo much warmer than at home. In the evening we had a chat to our son. Andrew, who updated us on what is happening back home. It was good to hear from him and learn about the grandchildren.

Tomorrow we plan for an earlier start so we can spend more time looking around and maybe having lunch.
