Day 44 Tafraoute
We knew that coming to Tafraoute would be cold at night because its up in the mountains however it was really cold last night and continued to be cold throughout the day. We did put the gas heating on and used some of our precious LPG (there is no place in Morocco to go to a filling station and refill like there is in Europe)
Our friends walked into the town and complained how cold it was when they got back. We decided to put more layers on and stay in the van. The temperature inside was probably in single figures so it was an earlier to bed day just so that we can keep warm.
We had ordered a Chicken Tagine from a local lady and she arrived at the appointed time and we paid here the agreed amount of 150MAd (approx £11). We were disappointed as there was very little chicken compared to the Tagine that was prepared by Ali\’s wife earlier in the trip.
