Day 3 Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine

Terry is still having issues with his van so he said that the clutch on his van wasn’t working correctly, his leisure batteries were flat and a few other minor problems. We set off around 10:30 to find somewhere he could purchase some hydraulic fluid to top up his reservoir. However our first stop was to fill the diesel tanks and soon after we found a service station where we could get the needed items.

Before going to sleep last night I discovered Tucker had bit through the wire powering my CPAP breathing machine which meant I was not going to sleep much. With Tina’s help I made a very temporary reconnection of the wires and used some of the tape I had from home which of course was right under the centre of the bed. So it was more like 12:30 am before we were able to settle down.Note to self we must make sure that all important items are well out of reach of the dog !!

Our journey was not as bad as yesterday but was still long as we didn’t arrive until 4:30 pm. At least today we still had some daylight left.We have travelled nearly 500 miles already but still have 1000 miles to go to get to southern Spain.
