Day 20 Skoura
We started our journey today at 10am as we new we had a 4 hour drive ahead of us. We are going over the mountains today. There was no snow and the roads have improved significantly since we travelled this way a few years ago.
We arrived at the site in Skoura at around 2:30pm and before we got settled we needed to service the van…. fresh drinking water, empty both the black and grey water. We are the only van on site so we let Tucker run…. he is loving the freedom.
I watched the second half of the Sheffield United match and then. waited to watch my team Bournemouth play Liverpool. The wifi here is 5G so the speed is great and I was able to see the match without too much buffering. Unfortunately Liverpool are a class above us and we lost 4-0. Not surprising really as they are top of the league.
During the afternoon the temperature was in the 20’s and was really warm in the van however when the sun went down so did the temperature. It’s strange how you soon get used to temperatures where you are. I understand that in the UK it is close to zero and really cold.
We intend to spend another night here tomorrow giving us chance to catch up on some washing and get the van organised before we venture up to the mountains and the cold.
