Day 28 Skoura again
Today we decided was going to be moving day…. it had to come sometime. It was still sad that we had to say goodbye even though we were being asked to stay a little while longer.
We had breakfast as usual and then started to prepare the van for travel. Brought in the electric cable that had been strung through holes in 2 walls to reach us some 25m away from their bedroom where the cable was plugged in.
Everyone came out to the van and we gifted the “framily” the warm duvet we had brought from home and had served us well while we were in the mountains. It was time to go.
We made our way down the mountain and used the road we had travelled last year to find the town close to Skoura where we could replenish some of the food items we needed over the coming days. You wouldn’t think it would be so hard to find breakfast cereal !!
We arrived back at the site we had departed a week ago and found a few more vans than last week. We parked up in a different spot with a nearby water tap hoping the pressure would be better. It wasn’t !!
We were visited by a Lancashire based lady travelling on her own with a border collie. She had bought and converted a van herself which we later had an opportunity to view. Tucker loved the company and loves to run on this site. He approached a French couples 22kg bull mastiff that chased Tucker around the site. Didn’t realise he could run so fast. He was very tired later in the day.
Tina cooked a Tagine with the acquired spices in her repaired skillet. We placed it on the table and we ate directly from it to save washing up. It was delicious.
Now back to our usual routine and Tina was in bed by 7:30pm and I streamed a premier league match.
