Day 22 – Taghazout beach – third day
Tina was not feeling too good today. She stayed in bed a little longer and only later in the afternoon she started to be her usual self.
We had the usual sellers around trying to scratch a living. Tina took a shine to some bracelets which we eventually bought after some negotiations (aka haggling). She even managed to persuade him to go into the next village and buy us some bottled water, True to his word he turned up with enough for us and another fellow camper.
Tina and I discussed some possible scenarios of how we might spend the next few weeks. I suggested that I would like to spend some time in Southern Portugal and visit an expat who specialises in satellite TV. So after this I spent some time getting some information about sites in Portugal that we might use. Our rough timings are to stay here till about Monday (today is Thursday) and then start our journey northwards very slowly visiting a few places on our way back to the port. We would cross about the 9th which would give us 7-10 days in Portugal followed by up to 14 days to get home in early March.
At Beer O’Clock (approx 4:30pm) we gathered to join the other brits here and in total there were 30 singing 60s and 70s classics along with 3 guitars, 2 banjos and a tambourine. Great time had by all.
After our evening meal we Skyped Stacie and called my Mum.
I wonder what tomorrow will bring!!!
