Day 38 Aglou Plage

We woke this morning to a bright and clear sky which was warming us nicely.

In the morning we needed some supplies so we wandered up to the shop just outside the site gates to the shop / supermarket. We have been looking for a replacement Tea Pot for home as ours leaks a little as you pour. Immediately Tina was looking at all the different types, both metal and ceramic. Did I mention Tina loves Tea Pots !! She picked up an ornate metal one typically Moroccan and was priced at around €15 but there was no negotiation on the price. Next it was the turn of the ceramic to try and convince me to buy one. I suggested that we come back tomorrow thinking that we would find a better selection and price in a larger souk.

For the rest of the day Tina sat out in the warm sunshine and read her book. She is now on her 4th book since we left the UK which is surprisingly good for her. Whilst she was reading I also sat inside (I burn if sat in the direct sunshine) and tried to prepare for the Bournemouth match later. The site internet is patchy and inconsistent but I was able to stream parts of the game and the commentary. I was so disappointed with the 1-0 loss as the goal was scored 4 minutes before the final whistle. We are doomed to be relegated even though the owner has spent in excess of £60 million on 6 new players.

Yet another day tomorrow to look forward to in the warm weather whilst the UK gets its usual temperatures. No regrets travelling to Morocco….
