Day 46 Tafraoute

We decided we would have a more relaxing time today. It was a little nippy when we woke at around 8:30am this morning but soon warmed up as the sun rose in the sky. Our batteries stood at 70% first thing this morning but by mid afternoon they were fully charged from the solar panels on the roof.

We met another English couple. Trev and Lorraine, who full time in their van. They were on their way to town. On my way to the Bourne to empty our black waste using my mobility scooter I met them walking back. They wished to move closer to us for some company as they had French vans all around them.

We sat out in the warm sun and chatted so much so that we forgot the time and ended up with a very late lunch. We keep getting many of the children coming around asking for sweets but we didn\’t bring any. Eric bought some sheets of paper and pencils which he has been handing out.

We are waiting for the guardian to come and collect the nightly fee of 15MAD or around £1. They live on site and protect the vans during the day and night. They live in a tent and didn\’t want any photos taken but we snuck one whilst they were not watching.
