Day 26 – Tafroute Last Day

After yesterdays walk in to town we both were a little stiff so it was always going to be a relaxing day by the van.
Tina continued with her hairdressing duties and cut Brenda and Lynne’s hair. Whilst she was busy with that I was attempting to reconnect the pressure sensors on my tyres back to the display in the van. This was necessary as we had two new tyres fitted and all changed around just before Christmas.
After trying all the wheels it became apparent that the batteries needed replacing in the sensors so I will have to buy some next time we find somewhere that might stock them. Not an easy job as they are the flat round thin type.
Tom had walked into town to buy yeast for the pizzas he was going to make for us all at lunchtime. He prepared everything himself and then nearer 2pm he cooked them on his cadac bbq. They were delicious with a crispy thin bottom. Yummy…. we will miss hime when we move on tomorrow. They have only one month stay in Morocco and have yet to have their van completely resprayed in Agadir which will take a week.
The afternoon sun was very hot and we soon drifted in to Beer O’clock. We were joined by Darren & Lynne. Much talk and laughter… a fine afternoon of socialising. We also had some unexpected visitors … 2 donkeys. They showed no fear of the dogs yapping at their legs as they walked around the vans. Made sure we did not feed them as they continued to come after we drove them away. I was expecting to have to go and find a vet if one of them kicked out. Luckily nothing happened.
Tomorrow we are off to Tata for a couple of nights. We will be starting our journey east towards the desert.
