Day 35 Tata

We paid our fees and were on our way by around 11am. We were asked to leave a review on Park4night, the app that can be used to find campsites and motorhome stops all over Morocco.

The drive was an easy 2 hour journey along the flat desert floor. I was looking for a garage that sold AdBlue as the warning light had come on when we left Zagora a few days ago. Just as we approached Tata I saw a fuel station and they had 10 litre bottles and the attendant attempted to pour its contents into our tank. Not everything went in mainly because the container needed an air hole punched in so that the air could replace the liquid as it was pored out.

We decided to find an alternative site to the ones we had used in previous years. Last year it was cut off by the rising water level in the stream that we crossed. Tina managed to find the washing machine and after 2 loads we created a hanging line from the roll out awning. This is the first time we had the chairs out and the awning extended. We now resemble a Chinese laundry.

On looking into the fridge / freezer we are almost devoid of and provisions so I unloaded the mobility scooter and went shopping up to town at around 5pm. Google translate came in handy when I was trying to find potatoes. The scooter performed well overall but did struggle going up the hill initially.

Steak and chips for supper tonight.

We met some members of Southern and Wessex BCC and shared some information. They were only staying the one night.
