Day 10 – Estepona final day

After a pretty grotty day it had to be better today and it didn’t disappoint. Most of the afternoon was taken up with my belated birthday party. Drinks, cakes and left over mince pies from Christmas which were surprisingly still very edible.
There were some german campers on sight and one of the ladies spoke extremely good english … she had been educated at an english school in Germany. She introduced us to couple of new drinks one of which was very tasty. It was Vodka with caramel and we vowed to look out for it at the Mercodonna supermarket in Algeciras when we travel down tomorrow for the tickets.
The day was very pleasant and warm until the sun started to sink in the sky. Terry took advantage of everyone being together to brief the “newbies” to Morocco on what to expect. Items included roads, fuel, internet, food, campsites, gas and many many more things. It is surprising how ill prepared some people can be but they all seem to get by in the end.
The evening had me trying to listen to the commentary of the Bournemouth match. The campsite internet and the 3G signal were all very week and I had to follow the match using the live blog….. very disappointed. We lost 3-1 by the way which even more disappointing. Saturday will be a big game against Norwich.
Tomorrow will be leaving day so we will be driving down to the port area to buy the ferry ticket and get last minute supplies. Tomorrow will be busy ….
