Day 3 – Montguyon

Once again we left early at 9:30am. It does mean that I have to get Tina up before 8:00am so that she can have her medication to allow her to get up. She really isn’t used to getting up regularly at these times. It should be noted of course that the clocks here are one hour ahead and consequently it is still dark first thing in the morning.
Soon after we left the Aire we were travelling through the village in a 50kph zone and was flashed by a mobile police camera unit. I think we were doing 54kph. Later in the day we were flashed by a camera for exceeding the 3.5 Ton 80kph limit. I will be monitoring the post with interest when we return back to the UK.
The journey was otherwise uneventful with periods of rain, wind and brightness. We arrived at the overnight stop which is behind a sports pavilion. This was chosen when we were having lunch. Our distance today was similar to today.
We have tonight planned the next few nights stops and planned routes. It seems that we will be down on the southern Spain coast on Friday evening. Looking forward to a warmer climate and a few days to chill before we cross on Thursday next week. Route tomorrow will take us into Spain to Vitoria-Gasteiz.
