Day 3 – Chaunay

Much like yesterday we spent the day travelling. We left at around the same time ..10:15am and this time I led our little convoy.
We stopped for lunch for around 45 mins and arrived at our destination about 6 hours later. It is part of a large square with 7 electric points around the outside. We have hooked up and charging our batteries up to full power. This evening we could watch a little TV and run the heating without any concerns. The only concerns are that the fresh water has been turned off and there seems to be nowhere to empty the loo. We will have to cross our legs a little longer tomorrow.
I arrived here with the reserve light showing on the fuel gauge and a range of 75 miles remaining. Terry has a range of 50 miles so our first job will be to find some fuel soon after setting off in the morning. We saw diesel prices on our journey today ranging €1.06 – 1.10 (84 – 88p). Just shows how much we are ripped off for our fuel.
Tomorrow yet more miles to cover and we will be close to crossing into Spain.
