Day 6 – La Cabrera

Very cold night last night. The dogs were snuggled up to both of us warmth so much so that I kelp loosing the duvet….this made sure I woke regularly through the night every 2 hours. The expected disturbance from the market setting up really didn’t happen. There were some traders around at 7:30am but the market didn’t get into full swing until around 8:30am. Terry, Brenda & Tina went to have a look around after breakfast and Tina came back teasing me about buying something (usually clothes) but in fact she didn’t buy anything. Terry said it was mainly socks and ladies knickers. So glad I didn’t walk around.

We left at just before 11:00am and set off for an ACSI commercial site about 300km south. We have planned for the next 3 days to be all about the same distance which should bring us to the south of Spain at Estepona on Saturday. Our Friday night stop had a market on the Saturday / Sunday morning (Not sure which dayI) so I am hoping for the same this year.

We arrived at the campsite paying €18 for the night. Serviced the van and had a bite to eat. Time to relax for the afternoon. The sunshine was lovely after seeing the freezing fog throughout todays journey and the temperature had improved from the 0 degrees.

Early evening we took a long hot shower followed by a make shift dinner as the chicken had not thawed properly. Drinks in with Terry & Brenda putting the world to rights and it was soon time for bed. Another day over.
